About The Role

The Administration Manager (Capability Development, Internationalisation) of Office of Skills-First Practices will play a supporting role in the development and implementation of capability-building programmes and in internationalisation.  The role also entails budget management and handling of day-to-day operations for the Office.

What You Will Be Doing

Reporting to the Assistant Director to support the Office with the following responsibilities:

  • Support to develop and implement capability-building programmes, including identifying the training needs of stakeholders.
  • Support the development of curriculum and instructional materials for capability-building programmes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Support programme instructors and facilitators, ensuring high-quality delivery and learner engagement.
  • Work with the Assistant Director in developing partnerships with international organisations, designing cross-border training initiatives, and identifying opportunities for global collaborations.
  • Support the evaluation of the capability-building programmes and internationalisation efforts through stakeholder feedback, programme evaluations, and other assessment methods.
  • Work with the Assistant Director in managing the Office’s budget for capability-building programmes and internationalisation efforts.
  • Support the management of day-to-day operations of the Office.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies governing the Office’s operations.
  • Invest in capability development to enhance self effectiveness and efficacy.
  • Contribute to an innovative and caring work culture.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in learning and development (L&D) and business development preferred.
  • Previous experiences in operational roles preferred.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • A resourceful team player and leader with a lot of initiative and an ability to work independently
  • The position is based in IAL’s premises at Lifelong Learning Institute in Paya Lebar.
