Application Consultant (SAP)

Short Description

This position focuses on working with the users and vendors to support the strategic directions and businesses of SUSS by providing governance and support to SAP S/4 HANA and any other related application systems.

Job Description

• Provide governance, application support and advice to user to enable the effective and efficient use of SAP S/4 HANA (FICO module) including functional, integration and user access issues.
• Analyse user's requirements, include determining feasibility, cost, time and resources required, compatibility with current systems, potential problem area and recommending solutions
• Assist in managing both in-house and out-sourced projects to meet project scope, budget and schedule with proper project plan that is closely monitored
• Work closely with external vendors and internal users in the development/maintenance/support of SAP related systems 
• Participate in university-wide events 

Job Requirements

• Degree in information technology or equivalent. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting SAP FICO
• Knowledge in procure to pay process
• SAP S/4 HANA experience is preferred
• SAP SAC experience is a plus
• Able to take challenges, work independently or as a team, and be self-driven to learn new technologies
• Possess strong technical competencies, analytical, good interpersonal skills and services oriented
