About The Role

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day activities arising from the research projects and programmes within the University.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Organise research forums, seminars, courses, and workshops to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • Establish, manage, and maintain the department webpage and repositories.
  • Coordinate the preparation, submission, and publication of research working papers. This includes managing the process for obtaining necessary ISBNs (International Standard Book Numbers) or equivalent identifiers for published works.
  • Develop and maintain department policies, procedures, and records.
  • Assist in tracking research expenditures, ensuring budget alignment and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist in collation of research outputs for reporting.
  • Assist with procurement of office supplies and onboarding of office staff and other office-related tasks.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within research administration and office operations.
  • Provide flexible support for special assignments and other tasks as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any specialised field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet computations.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and good judgment.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
