About the Job
To support Manager, Finance & Business Partnership (FBP), in managing the finance functions through timely and accurate data analysis, information gathering, compliance and reporting.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
Donation Management
- Prepare Tax Deductible (TDR) and Non-Tax Deductible (NTDR) donation receipts and submission to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for approval.
- Prepare and submit yearly donation received to IRAS.
- Prepare audit schedule related to donation and endowed donation with high accuracy.
- Prepare annual MOE matching grant donation based on MOE requirement.
- Prepare annual financial statements report to Charity Portal.
- Involve and liaise with IT colleagues for donation software system enhancement implemented by IRAS.
- Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors in their inquiries.
- Support the system implementation or enhancement that is related to donation process and utilisation
Fixed Assets (FA) Management
- Support and maintain FA systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Support the recording of new assets in the fixed asset sub-ledger.
- Quarterly Sighting and Tagging of New Fixed Assets
- Prepare fixed asset reconciliations, depreciation calculations and analysis.
- Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
- Support fixed assets disposal exercise
- Assist in annually Fixed Assets sighting exercise
Month-End Closing & accounting function
- Support finance function including accurate posting and timely completion of all accounting tasks
- Ensure recording of accounting transactions in a timely manner
- Provide support in monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information
- Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting and Finance with a minimum 3 years of relevant working experiences.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent team player.
- Eye for details.
- Numerically inclined and analytical.
- High level of self-management and ability to work under tight timelines.
