Executive, Employee Experience and Culture

About The Job

The Executive, Employee Experience & Culture supports the development and implementation of initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement, well-being and foster a positive, values-driven organisational culture. The role contributes to organisation development efforts, internal communications, and an array of engagement activities, while working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that the employee experience is consistently positive, inclusive, and aligned with the organisation’s goals.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

 Organisation Development & Culture Initiatives

  • Partner with various departments to embed the organisation’s core values into daily work practices, supporting sustained behavioural shifts and fostering a cohesive culture.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement programmes such as quarterly orientation sessions, annual workplan forum, corporate volunteering, holistic wellbeing initiatives, and diverse engagement events tailored to employee needs.
  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation’s culture, helping to identify areas for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions to enhance workplace environment. 
  • Design and produce compelling internal communications materials, including engaging announcements, visually appealing publicity materials, and insightful post-event articles to keep employees informed and connected.

Employee Engagement & Survey Management

  • Support the end-to-end implementation of employee engagement surveys, including meticulous coordination, clear communications, and efficient administration.
  • Monitor outcomes from surveys, analyse feedback trends and track progress of post-survey action plans.
  • Collaborate with managers to address feedback constructively and improve overall employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist in developing continuous listening strategies, such as pulse surveys and focus groups, to gather real-time insights into the employee experience.

Recreation Committee Advisory

  • Advise and guide the staff Recreation Committee in brainstorming, planning, organising, and executing staff engagement activities and events.
  • Ensure that all committee-led initiatives are inclusive, align with organisational core values, and effectively contribute to a vibrant workplace culture.

Policy Review & Governance

  • Review and update HR policies related to employee experience, engagement, and culture as required to ensure they remain relevant, equitable and compliant with current best practices. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of employee-facing HR services.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology or a related discipline.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience with strong hands-on exposure to employee engagement, culture building or organizational development preferably within a university, public sector or large organisation.  
  • Demonstrate good understanding of employee experience principles, engagement strategies and workplace culture best practices.
  • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively with employees and managers at all levels is crucial. 
  • Posses an analytical mindset using data, survey findings and metrics to support evidence-based decision-making and measure programme effectiveness.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple assignments, events and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • A team player who is collaborative, service-oriented, proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused. 
  • Comfortable working with survey platforms, data analysis tools and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
