What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and support the conduct of corporate strategic events, such as planning retreats and workplan seminars.
  • Develop project timelines, define project milestones and measures of outcomes of strategic initiatives with strategic thrust leads of the university.
  • Take meeting notes for updates with strategic thrusts - Engage teams and schools for key strategic thrusts and projects
  • Monitor the progress of implementation and coordinate across teams for key strategic thrusts and projects
  • Develop departmental workplanning tools
  • Provide support and facilitation in the departmental workplanning exercise, including reviewing of submissions and preparation for approval
  • Prepare performance reports and derive insights from analysing performance trends to help drive strategic and operational decisions
  • Support the development and implementation of corporate and departmental scorecards and dashboards
  • Support in the development of strategy map and scorecards for schools/selected departments/ centres to conceptualise functional level strategy and measure outcomes
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Degree Holder with 1-2 years' relevant working experience
  • Mature, meticulous and possess high level of discretion and integrity
  • Effective interpersonal skills with excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Resourceful team player who is able to work independently and display initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to do data analysis and information research
  • Ability to communicate well so as to act as liaison and help reach out to stakeholders, such as faculty and admin staff from other departments and divisions as well as associates and other stakeholders
