About The Job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to support data-driven decision-making within the organization by applying basic statistical methods to extract and analyse data. This role involves collaboration with teams across various departments to contribute to the understanding of key statistics, facilitate reporting, and assist in the interpretation of data for informed decision-making.

The incumbent can look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the organization's decision-making processes by providing foundational statistical analysis and insights from data.

What You Will Be Doing

Specific (90%)

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Compile statistics and generate reports for both internal data requests and reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of information.
  • Collaboration: Clarify data requirements and work with internal stakeholders to extract relevant data.
  • Quality Assurance: Identify irregularities in data for further review.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis results.
  • System Testing and Support: Provide support for data migration and pilot testing for new system functionalities. Highlight and assist in resolving issues before roll-out, ensuring a smooth transition for the team and making necessary adjustments.

 

General (10%)

  • To provide support to the Manager of Student Records and Assistant Director of the Office of Academic Services and perform any other duty as assigned by him/her.

Job Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma holder.
  • 1 year of relevant working experience preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Proficient in analytical tools (eg Excel, Power BI)
  • Resourceful and able to multi-task.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • An effective planner and organizer.
