About The Job
To collaborate with the Student Records Manager and team to champion the academic life-cycle of students enrolled at SUSS. The role involves administrating and maintaining comprehensive records of students' academic progression, including course offers, deferments, withdrawals, and transfers, and confirming graduation records.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
Student Records Management (40%)
- Oversee deferments, course/program withdrawals, program transfers, program restarts, candidature extensions, and issuing certification letters.
- Verify student records upon requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and provide recommendations for escalated Student Services cases.
- Maintain and update continuing students’ profiles.
Course Offer Management (20%)
- Process course offer, registrations and related appeals.
- Monitor students’ performance using CGPA to issue warning/termination letters.
- Monitor scholars/sponsorship students to manage their academic status.
- Enrol eligible students for honors programmes.
- Monitor inactive students.
Graduate Records Confirmation (10%)
- Process graduation for eligible students.
- Manage post conferment activities for issuance of transcripts and certificates.
Activity Coordination for Programs (15%)
- Plan and collaborate with stakeholders to implement program activities.
- Prepare data and statistics for reporting purposes.
System Enhancement and SIMS2.0 Preparation (10%)
- Conduct data verification and system testing.
- Set up and maintain records in the new system.
General (5%)
- Participate in institute-wide activities, such as examination invigilation and graduation ceremonies.
- Provide support to the Manager of Student Records and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Academic Education
- Degree/Diploma holder with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Professional Education/License
- None required.
Personal Attributes
- Analytical, resourceful, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
