About The Job

The successful candidate will work closely with the Student Recruitment (SRC) Manager and team to support the University’s student recruitment strategies and operational plans. This includes organising and executing targeted marketing, outreach, and promotional activities, as well as providing programme counselling and guidance to prospective applicants.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support and participate in local and overseas student recruitment and outreach activities/events, including Open Houses, education fairs, school visits, dialogue sessions, seminars, and presentations to prospective students.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, education partners, overseas representatives, and external stakeholders to strengthen outreach efforts and enhance programme visibility locally and internationally.
  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing and engagement initiatives, including social media content creation, publicity videos, marketing collaterals, and outreach campaigns across online and on-ground platforms.
  • Provide programme counselling and customer service support by handling enquiries, guiding prospective applicants, assisting with applications, managing leads databases, and ensuring timely follow-up on enquiries and feedback.
  • Support business development and partnership initiatives by engaging corporate organisations and industry stakeholders, identifying sponsorship and collaboration opportunities, and organising engagement platforms such as corporate talks, seminars, and roadshows to promote SUSS programmes.
  • Support administrative, operational, and University-wide activities, including documentation and reporting, ad-hoc projects, meetings, Open House duties, Convocation, and other responsibilities assigned by reporting officers.

Job Requirements

  • Possesses GCE ‘A’ Level or higher qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in marketing, events management, or student engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing and social media engagement
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Customer-oriented, with the ability to effectively engage and respond to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful, organised, and able to work independently when required.
  • Passionate about the higher education sector with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
