What You Will Be Doing
The shortlisted candidate will work with the Manager and Course Chair by providing efficient and effective administrative support to the department.
- Assist the Course Chair and supervisor in managing and administering academic courses, including course setup and registration.
- Provide support for examination, assessment, and evaluation matters, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the appointment and deployment of course instructors, and provide academic and administrative support to students.
- Support the Assistant/Deputy Dean in the planning and development of new postgraduate and CET courses.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as data collation, report preparation, and updating information for stakeholders.
- Support departmental operations, events, and university-wide initiatives.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of professional experience, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong coordination, administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills. Good teamwork and interpersonal skills; and a high level of integrity.
