About The Job

The Executive supports the financial and procurement functions of the Entrepreneurship Office through analysis, coordination, advice, compliance, and reporting. Working closely with the Head and programme teams of the Entrepreneurship team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, the role supports procurement activities, budget management across multiple funding sources, and audit processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Financial Operations

  • Manage day-to-day procurement of goods and services for entrepreneurship programmes, events, and office operations in accordance with SUSS’ policies and procedures
  • Prepare procurement documentation including quotations, evaluations, justification papers, and purchase requests
  • Liaise with internal procurement teams and external vendors to ensure timely processing and delivery

Budget Management & Reporting

  • Manage and track budgets across various funding sources, including institutional funds and external funds
  • Monitor expenditure and utilisation rates, and provide regular updates to the Head and programme leads
  • Support budgeting processes, including documentation, submission tracking, and follow-ups
  • Support continuous improvement of financial tracking, reporting templates, and processes

Controllership, Compliance & Audit Support

  • Support maintenance of financial systems and records to ensure adherence to institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare supporting documents and liaise with internal and external auditors during audit exercises
  • Ensure proper tracking and accurate recording of institutional funds and external funds

Programmes & Events Support

  • Provide operational support for entrepreneurship programmes and major events (e.g. Geronpreneurship Innovation Festival, bootcamps, competitions, showcases)
  • Support on-ground event operations where required, including registration, session coordination, and vendor liaison
  • Support the appointment and engagement of mentors, service providers, and other external partners engaged for entrepreneurship programmes and events

Stakeholder Coordination & Advisory Support

  • Work closely with programme teams to provide guidance on finance and procurement matters
  • Respond to finance-related queries and support information gathering for reporting

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in finance, procurement, or audit support
  • Familiarity with MOE funding or public-sector finance processes is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple funding sources and deadlines
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders
