About The Job
The Executive (Financial Aid) will assist the Financial Aid (FA) Manager in designing and maintaining an effective administrative framework that supports efficient planning and coordination of departmental operations. The role also supports the FA Manager in organising the department structure to drive strong team performance through clear delegation of responsibilities, well-defined roles, and the establishment of individual performance goals.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibitilities:
- Manage application processes for scholarships, sponsorships, financial aid, and related appeals.
- Assist in the budgeting and disbursement of scholarships, sponsorships, and financial aid to recipients.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure availability and alignment of funds for financial aid schemes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, statistics, and data related to scholarships, sponsorships, and financial aid.
- Coordinate with MOE and other government agencies on forecasts and projections for financial aid schemes.
- Liaise with partner banks and internal departments to support workflow and process management for financial aid operations.
- Prepare informational materials on scholarships, sponsorships, and financial aid, and ensure website content remains current and accurate.
- Provide advisory support to prospective and existing students on scholarship, sponsorship, and financial aid applications.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder with at least 2 years of working experience, preferably in an administrative role. Experience in project management or change/innovation management will be an advantage.
- Proficient in basic office applications and systems, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Pleasant disposition with strong administrative capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and growth mindset, able to work independently and take initiative.
- Resourceful and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail, and a high level of discretion and integrity.
- Open and adaptable to change, with the initiative to suggest process improvements for greater operational efficiency, while maintaining a student-centric approach to service delivery.
