The 1-Year Contract Executive, HR Shared Services will play a key role in delivering efficient and employee-centric HR operational support within the University’s shared services model. This role supports the smooth execution of HR processes and ensures service excellence in areas such as employee life cycle management, HR systems administration, and data integrity.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute end-to-end HR transactions, including onboarding, confirmation, contract renewals, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Maintain, audit P-files and HRIS records, to ensure completeness, data accuracy and integrity.
- Administer training processes, including coordination with external training providers and payment processing.
- Manage leave administration in accordance with policies & regulation.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Payroll, Business Partners, Infrastructure, IT) to ensure seamless processing of HR-related matters.
- Ensure HR processes comply with university policies, employment laws, and MOM regulations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution and promoting a service-oriented culture.
- Support audits and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Participate and support in HR process enhancement initiatives, including UAT in new system features, automation and digitalisation projects.
- Contribute to cross-functional HR projects and any ad-hoc HR operational/administration duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management, similar or equivalent.
- At least 3–5 years of HR operations or shared services experience, preferably in a large or public sector organisation.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge of Singapore’s employment laws and HR practices.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
- Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and levels.
