About The Job

The successful candidate will provide secretariat support for the Node for Impactful Continuing Education (NICE) and managing research administration tasks.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison with SUSS and collaborators.
  • Arrange meetings, take minutes during meetings.
  • Monitor the progress of various workgroups.
  • Track research expenditures to ensure compliance with budget allocations.
  • Track research performance of the workgroups and assist in preparing reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal management and external stakeholders.
  • Develop policies and procedures for NICE.
  • Assist research teams in their research projects.
  • Assist in other secretariat duties as required.
  • Manage ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Labour Economics, Sociology of Work or Behavioural Psychology.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience as a research administrator or research assistant within an academic institute or company.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter and problem solver.
  • Ability to work independently and display initiative.
  • Ability of multi-tasking and responding to changing priorities.
  • Good time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and spreadsheet computations.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Good work ethic and judgment
  • Good team player
