About The Job
The successful candidate will provide secretariat support for the Node for Impactful Continuing Education (NICE) and managing research administration tasks.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison with SUSS and collaborators.
- Arrange meetings, take minutes during meetings.
- Monitor the progress of various workgroups.
- Track research expenditures to ensure compliance with budget allocations.
- Track research performance of the workgroups and assist in preparing reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal management and external stakeholders.
- Develop policies and procedures for NICE.
- Assist research teams in their research projects.
- Assist in other secretariat duties as required.
- Manage ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Labour Economics, Sociology of Work or Behavioural Psychology.
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience as a research administrator or research assistant within an academic institute or company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter and problem solver.
- Ability to work independently and display initiative.
- Ability of multi-tasking and responding to changing priorities.
- Good time management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and spreadsheet computations.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Good work ethic and judgment
- Good team player
