About the Job

The School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences is seeking a suitable candidate to administer and manage SUSS’s academic programmes, support examination operations, oversee student activities, and coordinate external liaison efforts.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage school programmes and courses.
  • Support examination and assessment related matters including liaison with teaching associates/capstone project supervisors, formatting assessment papers, processing course results and performing as exam invigilator.
  • Oversee contract renewal, appointment and deployment of instructors, writers, markers, external assessors/examiners, course developers, etc.
  • Organise/coordinate programme events and activities.
  • Attend to queries from teaching associates and students.
  • Schedule associate recruitment interviews and follow up on mandatory training activities.
  • Liaise with external partners associated with the programmes including Programme Advisory Panel and External Reviewers.
  • Assist with procurement, payment and budgeting matters for the programmes.
  • Support school and university events such as symposiums, forums, Student Orientation, Open House, and Convocation.
  • General administrative duties such as collation of data and information updates.
  • Proper documentation and filing to prepare for internal and external audits.

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder with 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Meticulous and possess high level of ethics and integrity.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Resourceful team player who is able to work independently and display initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • This role supports programmes conducted in Mandarin and requires professional proficiency in Mandarin, as the incumbent will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and ensuring the accuracy of programme materials delivered in Mandarin.
