Job Description

The successful candidate will provide statistical reporting and technical support for Provost Office, as well as IT-support for the university’s e-learning initiatives and other administrative matters.

  • Coordinate with respective data owners and assist with the collation, analysis, and extraction of admissions, students, and academic-related data for management reporting
  • Develop scripts and workflows to improve data retrieval and report generation processes
  • Work with respective data owners to regulate data integrity
  • Provide support for ad hoc data/ statistical reports requests
  • Assist in web server administration, creation of microsites, and other initiatives to streamline work processes
  • Provide technical support on implemented systems/ platforms
  • Facilitate in the maintenance and loan of IT assets to faculty, staffs, and students
  • Participate in university-wide events, for e.g. examination invigilation duties, convocation, online learning, etc.
  • Provide technical support for student selections and interviews
  • Assist with administrative and ad hoc duties when required
Job Requirements
  • Degree holder with preference for graduates in Statistics, Information Technology (IT)/Computer Science, or other relevant fields
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in IT, technical support, programming, or statistics. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel formulas, Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge in either Python, R, or, Linux/ Unix commands would be an added advantage
  • Proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently
  • Team player with good time management and interpersonal skills
  • Self-directed learner and willing to learn new technologies
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
