Advancement Office

Job Description

The job holder reports to the Director, Advancement Office to advance the philanthropic intent and goals of SUSS.  The job-holder’s primary role is to manage communications in Advancement Office and to provide appropriate donor relations support. 

The job holder will be responsible for:

• Organising and executing SUSS fundraising and stewardship events to meet SUSS’s philanthropic needs and objectives.

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, maintain accountability standards to donors and ensure compliance with code of ethical principles and standards of professional conduct for development and fundraising.

• Developing collaterals and media relationships: Work with the Communications department to ensure consistency among various collaterals and other publicity communications. 

• Responsible for media relationships for the Office to ensure maximum media coverage for the Office.

• Overseeing budgets, progress, deadlines, goals and objectives related to responsibilities

• Performing other duties as assigned.



Job Requirements


  • Recognised degree
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Able to work with different stakeholders to align with SUSS’s strategic direction and goals.
  • Independent and resourceful.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use design software (AI, Photoshop, Canva, etc)
