About The Role

The Associates Management (AM) team manages the appointments and onboarding of SUSS associate faculty. We also handle associated operational matters as well as facilitate engagement events. We believe that a motivated and engaged pool of associate faculty is crucial to our success.

You will be part of a team dedicated to providing proficient and professional management of operational matters and with particular attention to the aspects of engagement, relations, and people strategy. You will report to a Senior Manager of AM.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build relationships as a trusted advisor with senior stakeholders and managers of Schools and Centers for matters relating to management of associate faculty, including display of strong professional credibility.
  • Nurture strong work collaborations with certain clusters of Schools and Centers to facilitate sharing of best practices.
  • Manage some key activities in relation to appointments and onboarding of associate faculty.
  • Contribute to the implementation and review of policies, programs, processes, systems, and communications relating to management of associate faculty.
  • Designing and implementing a strong associate engagement plan, and organising dialogue and communication sessions, such as Start of Semester event and Faculty Appreciation event.
  • Managing and resolving complex associate relation matters, which include conducting effective and objective investigations.
  • Offer advice to associates on matters pertaining to policies and procedures, and manage the activities pertaining to grievances, conduct and discipline.
  • Participate in University-wide activities as assigned in action plans and/or duty rosters (e.g. graduation, invigilation, etc.).
  • Provide support to the Senior Manager and the Director to perform any other duties as assigned by them.

Job Requirements

  • Degree with at least 2 years or Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in the education industry or HR and/or work related to people engagement or ecosystem is an added advantage.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • Enjoys planning, ideation, and teamwork.
  • Meticulous and with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel et.).
