About The Role


As a Student Recruitment (SRC) Executive, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team in our journey to support the University’s student recruitment strategies and operational plans for marketing, outreach, and promotional events by providing programme counselling advice to prospective applicants, and organising and executing appropriate student recruitment and outreach activities.

What You Will Be Doing


Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Counselling and Customer Service

  • Support the university’s promotional efforts and activities by providing appropriate counselling, guidance and encouragement to the general public who are interested in our university’s programmes.
  • Attend to all course enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, and manage and monitor those received by the team.
  • Offer programme advisory to prospective students to help them make informed decisions about their educational path.
  • Assist prospective applicants in their application submission process.
  • Maintain and meticulously track applicants and leads in our database, capturing details from diverse sources including phone, email, walk-ins, and recruitment activities.
  • Be committed to maintaining a high standard of service by ensuring swift follow-up on enquiries and feedback from both prospective and signed-up applicants.
     

- Student Recruitment and Outreach

  • Collaborate closely with the SRC Manager to craft and execute innovative marketing strategies for our university's programmes.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of a range of engaging outreach events (e.g., open houses, education fairs, information sessions, seminars, talks etc.), ensuring their seamless delivery.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as Institutes of Higher Learning and corporate organisations to organise impactful local outreach activities.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation, and accurately track the statistics and outcomes of student recruitment and outreach activities, ensuring the success of our efforts

- Website Content Management

  • Assist the SRC Manager with the copywriting/copy editing and updating of information on the website, ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Schools, Admissions department) to ensure that student recruitment information on the website is kept updated and current.
  • Check and ensure accurate and up-to-date student recruitment-related information on the website.
  • Post student recruitment events/activities on the website.

 
General Responsibilities:

  • Assist with other tasks, duties as necessary or assigned (e.g., coordinate department meetings, minute-taking, etc.).

Job Requirements


Academic Qualifications

  • Degree Holder or GCE ‘A’ Level or Polytechnic Diploma with at least 2 years of working experience, preferably in customer service/administration.


Personal Attributes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • A good team player with good interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • Pleasant disposition with good customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Resourceful and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoys meeting people and organising activities.
  • Have an eye for details.
  • Mature, meticulous and possess a high level of discretion and integrity.
  • Good command of written and spoken English to handle public enquiries which will usually be in English.
