Executive/Senior Executive (1 year contract), Global Learning

The Executive/Senior Executive (Global Learning) reports to the Head (Global Learning) and is responsible for supporting the administration of short-term mobility programmes to achieve the strategic and operational goals of the SUSS Core.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

Summer and Winter School 

  • Manage administration and operations ensuring seamless coordination of summer and winter student mobility to partner institutions.
  • Liaise with SUSS students and representatives of partner institutions to support the effective delivery of summer/winter school mobility.
  • Conduct pre-departure briefings, ensuring compliance and implementation of crisis management protocols for student travels.
  • Manage the administration of credit recognition.
  • Organise events related to summer and winter schools including fairs and information session

 

Short-term immersion (Inbound and Outbound) 

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the outbound overseas component of the NIE351 Interdisciplinary Global Learning course:
  • Manage student travel arrangements including flight bookings, accommodation and land arrangements in consultation with instructors and partner institutions.
  • Manage vendor and contract management.
  • Conduct pre-departure briefings, ensuring compliance and implementation of crisis management protocols for student travels.
  • Overseas travel may be required to support instructors in the management of students and logistics.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the Inbound immersion programmes.

 

Budget administration and management:

  • Collate budget and expenditure data. 
  • Support procurement and finance administration to process payments for vendors and suppliers.

Others

  • Support department events and activities, as well as univeristy wide projects and activities
  • Assist with other tasks and duties assigned by supervisor
  • Manage the units general communication

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least 3-5 years of experience within an institution of higher learning or operations in a university/educational setting would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in the administration of student mobility programmes.
  • Perform administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of student data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent coordination, administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Flexibility for international travel.
