About the Job
The Executive/ Senior Executive of Financial Planning & Analysis will work closely with the Assistant Manager to support financial assessments by collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather and consolidate data. Key responsibilities include identifying data gaps, conducting market analysis and benchmarking, and analyzing financial data to provide insights for decision-making. The role requires independence, strong time management skills, and advanced Excel expertise while ensuring that deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
What You Will be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering (60%):
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various schools to gather programme-related data. Identify any gaps in the information provided and proactively raise questions to ensure the data collected is comprehensive, accurate, and aligned with financial goals. Assess the logical consistency of the data to ensure its relevance for robust financial analysis.
- Data Collation & Analysis (30%):
Collect, organize, and validate financial and operational data from multiple sources. Analyze and interpret the data to provide meaningful insights that drive business performance.
- Market Analysis & Benchmarking (10%):
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor performance, and external factors impacting financial performance. Perform benchmarking to compare internal performance against industry standards and competitors, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree holders with minimum 1 years of working experience.
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to engage with internal teams, identify gaps in data, and raise questions to clarify and fill missing information.
- Excel expertise with advanced Excel skills to process large data set. (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high level of accountability and self-direction in managing your workload and meeting deadlines consistently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
