Executive/Senior Executive (IT & Admin)

Office of the Provost

The successful candidate will provide statistical and technical support for the Office of the Provost, as well as IT support for the university’s initiatives. The successful candidate is also expected to provide administrative support for the office.

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with data owners to ensure data integrity and to prepare statistical/data reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Propose and implement automation solutions to streamline the data report generation process and other workflow processes

  • Provide first-level support for the university’s IT systems and survey platform

  • Assist in managing the department’s role-based emails to address requests and queries from internal stakeholders

  • Participate in university-wide events (e.g., examination invigilation duties, convocation, etc.) and support the university’s admission exercise

  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by Reporting Officer and/or Director

Job Requirements

Academic Education and Skillsets

  • Degree holder in Information Technology (IT)/ Computing, Statistics, or other relevant disciplines, or, candidate with at least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in IT/ technical support, statistics, or in the education industry.

  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially with Microsoft Excel

  • Basic to intermediate-level knowledge of any programming language (e.g. Java)

  • Knowledge of the following is not a must but would be an added advantage:

    • Scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript and/or Python)

    • Content management systems and web development languages (e.g., HTML, and/or CSS)

  • Will be required to work on some Saturdays to support university events/ exercises
