Learning Support Specialist ( 1 year contract)
What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a Learning Support Specialist to support functions involved in learning support research. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct literature review involving learning support
- Manage processes involved in learning support research
- Assist in learning support programme evaluation and dashboard
- Assist in new learning support initiative implementation
- Assist in the planning and execution of ad-hoc events and activities organised by the Teaching & Learning Centre (e.g. conferences, workshops, seminars).
Job Requirements
Below are basic requirements:
- Minimum qualification - Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline (e.g. Education, Psychology), with course credit in capstone/applied projects. Candidates with postgraduate qualification in the relevant discipline will be favourably considered.
- Interested in learning support.
- Has experience in conducting research.
- Has experience with qualitative research methods
- Has experience with basic statistical analyses and is willing to learn advanced techniques
- Able to work independently.
- A collaborative and collegial approach to work.
