About the Job

The Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), an autonomous institute of the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), administers the Training and Adult Educator Professional Pathway (TAEPP), a national initiative supported by SkillsFuture Singapore. TAEPP is dedicated to raising the standards and professionalism of Singapore’s Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector. Through the National Adult Educator Registry, TAEPP supports Singapore’s adult educators who deliver SSG-supported programmes by upholding rigorous quality assurance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering continuous professional development.

This role will lead a team in the integration of business processes, stakeholder relations, and policy compliance to ensure the TAEPP is robust, and aligned with national adult educator standards. 

What You Will Be Doing

• Serve as the primary liaison and representative for IAL/TAEPP in high-level engagements with government agencies, Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), training providers, and corporate partners. 
• Lead cross-functional issue resolution and escalation management, ensuring strategic alignment among diverse stakeholders to drive project closure and achieve organisational objectives. 
• Ensure synchronisation of policy, operations and system implementation, and resolve policy–operations–system trade-offs to maintain a single source of truth across all touchpoints. 
• Operationalise policy requirements by developing comprehensive SOPs, control frameworks, and escalation protocols. Ensure full alignment and execution across cross-functional systems and stakeholder touchpoints to maintain operational integrity. 
• Oversee the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) whitelisting process, evaluating external programmes to ensure they meet the quality benchmarks of the TAEPP framework. 
• Lead business requirements governance (from policy intent to process and system rules), including validation of system logic against SOPs/compliance needs and operational readiness for rollouts/changes. 
• Manage communications flow, ensuring messaging alignment to all stakeholders

Job Requirements

• Degree or Masters holder with at least 6-8 years in stakeholder engagement, business operations, preferably within government or Continuing Education and Training (CET) sector. 
• Pedagogical knowledge or experience in adult education is an advantage. 
• Strong negotiation skills to manage diverse interests. 
• Possess people leadership skills and experience in leading a team. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 

The successful appointee will be based in IAL Campus located at Lifelong Learning Institute next to Paya Lebar MRT station.
