About The Job
The Graduate Studies in SUSS has an opening for Head of Partnership Development. The Graduate Studies oversees that governance and development of graduate programmes in the University, which range from Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diploma, Master's degree to Doctoral degree programmes. It also directly manages two cross disciplinary degree programmes (i.e. the Master of Social Sciences, and Doctor of Philosophy), and provides administrative support to admission and outreach activities for postgraduate programmes.
What You Will Be Doing
The key responsibility of the Head of Partnership Development in Graduate Studies is to manage and develop collaboration with international and local partners across both academia and industry for the development and promotion of postgraduate programmes in the University. This includes establishing partnerships with institutes of higher learning as well as organisations in the business and government sectors internationally and domestically.
- Plan and execute marketing and outreach strategies across offline and online platforms.
- Organize and facilitate dialogue sessions with vendors, departments, partners, and prospective students.
- Develop marketing materials (brochures, flyers) and digital content (videos, social media posts).
- Host visitors and present graduate programme offerings effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance outreach events and engagement.
- Support overseas outreach events and education fairs in partnership with Success Academies.
- Promote graduate programmes on social media and update programme details promptly.
- Conduct data analysis to refine recruitment strategies and stay updated on best practices.
- Support the admissions process, including responding to enquiries and managing admissions for international and transfer students.
- Organize and support local and international events and conferences.
- Follow up on leads and develop content strategies to maximize engagement.
- Strategize and follow up on business account development.
- Participate in the administration of scholarships, bursaries, and discretionary admissions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in marketing or a related discipline with 5+ years of experience in student recruitment and partnerships.
- Strong understanding of graduate education, particularly in China, India, and ASEAN.
- Proficient in social media, communication, and data analysis.
- Team player with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledgeable about higher education trends and professional learning needs.
- Results-driven, resourceful, and willing to work late or travel as required.
- Advantageous: industry networks and proficiency in an Asian language as it is essential for building strong industry networks and relationships especially in the China and Indonesia market (e.g., Bahasa, Chinese).
