About The Job

The successful candidate will support the Assistant Director to manage the unit and oversee campus security, safety, and emergency preparedness programs.

What You Will be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee campus security operations, including security personnel, systems, and operational protocols to ensure a safe campus environment.
  • Implement and maintain business continuity management system to ensure minimal disruption during emergencies.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and review business impact analysis and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct regular business continuity exercises to ensure the readiness of units during a crisis.
  • Lead crisis response efforts, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for effective resolution.
  • Develop emergency response plans, ensure readiness, and provide training programs for staff and students.
  • Plan and execute regular audits, drills, and exercises to assess and improve SGSecure, Pandemic and emergency response readiness.
  • Enforce workplace safety and health standards in alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and propose mitigating strategies that may impact campus operations and safety.
  • Manage and report Key Risk Indicators on a quarterly basis.
  • Conduct regular fire safety inspections and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Public Safety & Security, or a related field with 5-10 years of relevant working experience.
  • A resourceful team player and leader with a lot of initiative and an ability to work independently
  • Good time management
  • Certification in Business Continuity, Risk Management, or Workplace Safety & Health preferred.
  • Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in emergency response tools and systems.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with excellent command of written and spoken English plus at least one other language
  • Familiar with most Microsoft Office applications
