About The Role

To work with the Director, Student Recruitment and Admissions, for the planning and managing of the University’s student recruitment strategies, operational plans for marketing, outreach and promotional events, competitor analysis and budget management.  In addition, to oversee CRM functions including provision of programme advisory to prospective applicants, calls and leads management.

What You Will Be Doing

Student Recruitment and Outreach

  • To plan and manage student recruitment and outreach activities/events such as open houses, education fairs, information sessions, seminars, talks, school/university/company visits, etc., for the purpose of recruiting students.
  • To plan and organise outreach activities/events, for e.g., dialogue sessions, for the Schools.
  • To collaborate with external stakeholders, for e.g., Institutes of Higher Learning (Polytechnics and ITE) and industry partners, to organise outreach activities/events to promote the University’s programmes locally.
  • To make presentations to prospective applicants at outreach events such as open houses, education fairs, information sessions, etc., conducted in schools, polytechnics, universities, external organisations, and so on.
  • To produce and keep updated all marketing collaterals including prospectuses, brochures, inserts, flyers and any other marketing/publicity materials.
  • To prepare student recruitment reports with details of outreach strategies and execution plans.
  • To prepare and manage budget and financial reports of student recruitment and outreach expenses.
  • To manage and analyse the statistics of student recruitment and outreach activities/events.
  • To prepare competitor analysis reports, where required.
  • To source for sponsor organisations for sponsorship programme.

Programme Counselling and Customer Service

  • To manage enquiries and provide appropriate counselling, guidance and encouragement to the general public attending the outreach activities/events who are interested in the University’s programmes.
  • To manage programme enquiries via phone, email and walk-ins, etc., received by staff.
  • To manage the leads database, the CRM system and the SRC hotline.
  • To prepare and analyse email and hotline statistical reports for service quality monitoring and improvement purposes.
  • To manage and analyse leads captured via phone, email, walk-ins and from other student recruitment and outreach activities, and to provide recommendations for improvements.
  • To manage and review all enquiries and feedback from interested applicants/signed-up applicants.

 

Website Management

  • To ensure accurate and up-to-date information relating to SRC’s sections on the SUSS website.
  • To copy edit/vet all publicity materials relating to SRC before the information is posted on the SUSS website.

Job Requirements

  • Degree with at least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in marketing and business-oriented with customer service focused perspective, of which 3 years at managerial level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A good team player with good interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • Pleasant disposition with good customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Resourceful and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoys meeting people and organising activities.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Mature, meticulous and possess a high level of discretion and integrity.
  • Bilingual with good command of written and spoken English.
