Marketing Executive / Senior Marketing Executive (1 year contract)
About the Job
As part of the Business Development & Marketing team, this role works closely with the Assistant Director and Assistant Manager (Digital Marketing) to strengthen SUSS Academy’s digital marketing and communications in line with the university’s direction.
What You Will Be Doing
You should be an effective communicator with a flair for crafting engaging content and narratives for diverse audiences. Experience in creative production, working with agencies, and developing clear, concise campaign briefs is highly desirable. A strong sense of trends and sound creative judgement will be valued as we continue to elevate our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Campaign Management
- Manage key digital touchpoints, including the SUSS website, employee portal (Workvivo), and social media platforms to support brand and communication objectives.
- Support internal teams with campaign landing pages, digital forms, and website content updates.
- Track and report digital performance metrics against KPIs and campaign goals.
Content Creation & Social Media
- Conceptualise and produce engaging, audience‑focused content such as social media posts, short‑form videos, and web copy aligned with our content strategy.
- Actively engage followers and grow online communities through meaningful interactions.
- Work with agencies and temporary staff to co‑create content that meets brand and platform guidelines.
- Monitor social media trends, audience behaviour, and competitor activities to inform ongoing content strategies.
Special Projects & Process Support
- Contribute to improving content workflows and team efficiency through automation and process enhancements.
- Support university‑wide events and team initiatives where required.
Procurement & Financial Management
- Assist with purchase requisitions, corporate gift orders, budget tracking, and related administrative tasks.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in hands-on digital marketing or content roles.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills, with a good eye for what works across platforms and audiences.
- Thrives in a growing, fast-paced environment with evolving structures; comfortable navigating approvals and clearances while staying creative, agile, and solutions-focused.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital tools, and content creation software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of CMS (Sitefinity preferred), Google Analytics, and SEO/UX best practices is a plus.
- A team player who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and unafraid to experiment and learn on the go.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A proactive, positive attitude, with a willingness to grow with the team.
