Senior Officer (Payroll)

Job Description

The payroll officer will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll and related transactions. You will maintain the employee information in the payroll system and prepare monthly payroll statements. You will also manage all government reporting activities, as well as CPF and tax-related issues in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.

  • Responsible for timely and accurate full cycle of payroll processing for employees
  • Collect, calculate and enter pay data into payroll system
  • Ensure payment data submitted is in alignment with company policies and guidelines.
  • Responsible for all statutory leave claims administration and quarterly MOM survey submission.
  • Responsible for tax reporting year end activities and Tax Clearance for terminated employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
  • Assists on financial reports preparation for accounting and audit purposes.
  • Generate standard reports and create ad hoc payroll reports upon request, as well as process and disseminate monthly, quarterly, and other scheduled reports to internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Business, HR or equivalent, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in payroll of at least 300 employees.
  • Knowledgeable in Singapore employment legislations such as Employment, CPF and Income Tax Act
  • Experienced in benefits administration.
  • Familiar in full payroll processes and SAP software will be preferred
  • Able to maintain confidentiality in handling of employee data
  • Able to meet deadlines and meticulous with an eye for numbers & details
  • Willingness to innovate and try new ways of doing things productively
  • Good organisational and communication skills
