The Student Success Centre at Singapore University of Social Sciences is seeking a dedicated and organised Temporary Staff member to support our key operations and administration over the 6-month period. The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating operational processes, supporting stakeholder and payment administration, maintaining data accuracy and records, which contribute to the overall smooth operations of the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration and tracking of operational processes, including payment processing, procurement-related matters, and other key operational activities to ensure timely and accuracy.
- Support project coordination activities, including tracking timelines, monitoring deliverables, facilitating stakeholder communications, and assisting in the implementation of new processes and systems.
- Assist with the implementation of website enhancement initiatives by coordinating and maintaining content updates, consolidating information from stakeholders, to improve user experience and information accessibility.
- Support SSC wide events operations such as secretariat and logistical support for conferences and workshops.
- Support the centre on general administrative matters as needed.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or higher education qualification is preferred.
- Administrative experience in institute of higher learning is an advantage.
- Excellent organisational, multitasking skills and meet deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with programming languages would be preferred.
