What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

Programme and Course Administration

  • Coordinate programme and course operations, including timetabling, registration, and logistics within the centre and across relevant university units.
  • Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information and data across learning and communication platforms.
  • Support review processes and contribute inputs to academic quality assurance reports.

Examination and Assessment Management

  • Support the administration of the examination and assessment cycle, ensuring timelines and academic policies are met. Track marking deadlines, process submissions, and assist with appeals and moderation reporting.

Faculty, Associates, and Committee Support

  • Assist with the engagement of associate faculty and partners, including appointments, renewals, payments, and training requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to instructors and curriculum committees.

 

Student Engagement and Support

  • Serve as a contact point for course-related queries, enrolment matters, and academic administrative support.
  • Provide guidance to students to ensure a positive learning experience.

Operational Excellence and Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate programme records and support reporting requirements.
  • Assist in streamlining workflows and improving processes for efficiency.
  • Support centre operations and administration matters, including new staff onboarding, IT access management.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • Experience working in institutes of higher learning or educational settings would be an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with multiple stakeholders including faculty, staff, and students.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Meticulous attention to details and delivering quality work.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving needs and processes.
