About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to lead the successful implementation of employability outcomes initiatives. This role involves coordinating multiple work streams, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring all project objectives are achieved on time and within scope.

The Project Coordinator will act as the primary point of contact, to support planning, execution, and evaluation to align deliverables with the overarching employability strategy.

What You Will Be Doing

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with various initiative leads to ensure alignment of tasks, priorities, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to keep activities on track.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between initiative leads, senior management, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Convene regular meetings to provide project updates, gather feedback, and address potential risks or roadblocks.
  • Foster collaboration across different teams to ensure coherent communication and unified project objectives.  

Budget & Resource Monitoring

  • Work with relevant departments to manage project budgets, ensuring optimal utilization of financial and human resources.
  • Identify and communicate any resource gaps or constraints, and propose solutions to mitigate these issues.

Risk Management & Problem-Solving

  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and coordinate with teams to resolve challenges in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a risk register and escalate critical issues to senior leadership as necessary.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Coordinate data collection and analyze relevant data to generate reports and insights for informed decision-making.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to guide strategic and operational adjustments.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement best practices in project coordination to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Share best practices and learnings with cross-functional teams to enhance overall organizational capability.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
  • Minimum 1year of project management experience, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Project Management & Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-departmental projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting data to guide decisions.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage effectively with different levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate to achieve project goals and resolve conflicts.
  • Adept at translating technical or project-specific information into clear, concise updates for diverse audiences.

Leadership & Problem-Solving

  • Ability to motivate teams and coordinate efforts across multiple functions.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of anticipating and mitigating risks.
  • Flexible and solution-focused approach when facing project challenges.
