About the Job

The Graduate Studies office is responsible for the governance and development of the University’s graduate programmes, which include Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas, Master's Degrees and Doctoral Degrees. In addition, the office manages admissions and recruitment of graduate students, working in close collaboration with the Schools and various academic and administrative units across the University. The Graduate Studies office also directly oversees two cross-disciplinary degree programmes: the Master of Social Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy.

What You Will Be Doing

•  Assist in developing and executing comprehensive marketing and outreach strategies across offline and online platforms.
•  Organize and conduct dialogue sessions with external vendors, internal departments, partners, and prospective students.
•  Create high-quality marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, videos, and social media content.
•  Host visitors, coordinate presentations, and showcase graduate program offerings.
•  Manage stakeholder relationships to maximize the impact of outreach events and engagement activities.
•  Collaborate with Success Academies on overseas outreach events and education fairs.
•  Work with the marketing team to promote graduate programs on various social media platforms.
•  Ensure timely updates of program information on websites and social media channels.
•  Analyze data to refine outreach and recruitment strategies effectively.
•  Stay updated on trends and best practices in student recruitment.
•  Support the admissions process by addressing inquiries and providing assistance.
•  Plan, coordinate, and support events and conferences locally and internationally, while monitoring public sentiment.
•  Follow up on leads generated through various channels and devise strategies to maximize engagement.
•  Develop and implement content strategies tailored to different platforms.
•  Strategize and follow up on business account development opportunities.
•  Participate in the selection and administration of scholarships, bursaries, and discretionary admissions.
•  Manage admissions processes for international and transfer students.
•  Oversee operations and processes related to graduate student admissions.

 

Job Requirements

  • A degree from a recognized university, preferably in marketing or related discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in admissions and student recruitment, or at least 2 years of digital marketing and social media marketing
  • A good understanding of the educational landscape of local and regional graduate studies and students’ preference
  • Strong marketing skills, as well as image and video editing skills
  • Experience in using various social media platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good team player, problem-solver and multi-tasker
  • Good analytical and customer service skills
  • Able to occasionally work late
  • Able to travel overseas
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
