Developing a Truth Discernment Test for Perceiving the Truth of Argumentatively Structured Items in Misinformation Susceptibility

What You Will Be Doing

Project Summary

We are seeking qualified research staff to assist in developing a truth discernment test for misinformation susceptibility. The approach of this project will be to test the validity and reliability of a set of argumentatively structured truth discernment items on Singapore undergraduates. The intent of the project is to develop a set of such items for misinformation susceptibility. The project is scheduled to run for 12 months.

Job Scope 

• Search and annotated curation of literature review articles
• Data cleaning
• Statistical analysis and reporting
• Tracking of project budget
• Disbursal and tracking of tokens of appreciation
• Drafting progress and budget reports
• Liaising with SUSS University Research Centre, SUSS Institutional Review Board, Grantor (Ministry of Education, Singapore)  

Job Requirements

Qualification / Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree and above, preferably with research assistant experience
