Job Description

The successful candidate will provide secretariat support for the Node for Impact of Continuing Education (NICE) and managing research administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the progress of various workgroups.
• Collaborate in some of the workgroup’s research projects.
• Coordinate meetings and act as a liaison with SUSS and collaborators.
• Track research expenditures to ensure compliance with budget allocations.
• Monitor KPIs and assist in preparing reports for management.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop policies and procedures for NICE.
• Assist in other secretariat duties as required.
• Manage ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Labour Economics, Sociology of Work or Behavioural Psychology.
• 1-2 years of experience in research administrations within an academic research office, institute or company preferred.
• Self-starter and problem solver.
• Ability to work independently and display initiative.
• Ability of multi-tasking and responding to changing priorities.
• Good time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and spreadsheet computations.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good work ethic and judgment
• Good team player
