Research Support Officer (HR)

Job Description

The shortlisted candidate will work with the Manager and Executive of Centre for Applied Research by providing efficient and effective administrative support to the department.

This is a 1 year contract.

 

Human Resource Functions

  • Manage the appointment and re-appointment of staff on research schemes
  • Manage the timely payment of research staff 
  • Assist in any other ad-hoc assignments

Job Requirements

  • Diploma holders and above, preferably with background in Accountancy and/or Human Resources Management
  • Experience in handling research funding
  • Mature, meticulous and possess a high level of discretion and integrity
  • Able to multi-task effectively and possess project management skills
  • Knowledge of SAP system will be advantageous
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful team player who is able to work independently and display initiative
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
