About The Job
To work with the Financial Aid (FA) Manager and team to support the planning and managing of scholarships, sponsorships and financial aid. In addition, to provide advisory to prospective and existing students who are applying for scholarships, sponsorships and financial aid.
What You Will Be Doing
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the application processes for scholarships, sponsorships and/or financial aid, and appeals.
- Assist in the budget and disbursement of scholarships, sponsorships and/or financial aid to recipients.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Schools, Advancement Office, and Finance & Business Partnership, etc.) on availability of funds for scholarships, sponsorships and/or financial aid.
- Oversee and maintain accurate and up-to-date statistics/data and records of scholarships, sponsorships and/or financial aid.
- Liaise with MOE and other government agencies on the forecast/projection of MOE financial aid.
- Liaise with agency bank(s) and internal departments on workflows/processes for financial aid.
- Prepare information (e.g., brochures) on scholarships, sponsorships and financial aid. Ensure that website is updated with the most current information.
- Provide advisory to prospective and existing students who are applying for scholarships, sponsorships and financial aid.
- To assist with other tasks and duties as necessary and/or assigned, e.g., ad-hoc projects, coordinate department/division meetings, minutes taking, division teambuilding, etc
- To perform any other tasks and duties as assigned by the reporting officer(s).
Job Requirements
- Degree Holder with or GCE ‘A’ Level or Polytechnic Diploma with at least 2 years of working experience, preferably in customer service/administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- A good team player with good interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills.
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, able to work independently and take initiative.
- Resourceful and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Mature, meticulous and possess a high level of discretion and integrity.
