About the Role
The incumbent reports to the Head, Partnerships unit. The primary function of this role is engaging with stakeholders and partners and implementing the relevant requests. This role provides vital support in the area of pipeline management and support in strategic partnerships development at the corporate level for IAL’s product and services.
What You Will Be Doing
- Client Engagement & Business Development
- Engage with prospective clients to assess their workplace learning and innovation needs, positioning the institution’s offerings as solutions.
- Engage clients to coordinate programme corporate runs and CPD course advisory, ensuring alignment with their needs and objectives; support negotiations to finalise agreements work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless client onboarding, providing administrative and operational support throughout the process.
- Ensure client needs are met throughout the sales process, from initial contact to onboarding.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure long term collaboration and mutual benefit.
- Opportunistically prospecting for new clients and business opportunities, building a robust pipeline for growth.
- Business Development Strategy and Execution
- Support and Execute business development strategies to drive enrollment and adoption from enterprises, institutions, TAE organisations, and EdTech providers.
- Support revenue and growth targets by creating tailored proposals that align with client needs in training and consultancy.
- Co-prepare proposals for prospects and clients in partnership with programme owners.
- Stay informed of learning & development practices, technology-enabled learning and technology-enabled learning design and recommending solutions and adoption that aligns with institutional goals.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Tracking the effectiveness of strategies and adjusting approaches to meet assigned goals.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activity, client acquisition, and revenue generation for Director.
- Use CRM tools to maintain client and partnership records, ensuring data accuracy for future engagement and follow-ups.
- Special Projects and Ad hoc Duties
- Participate in cross team and/or divisional projects to meet organisational needs and demands amidst evolving environments, as well as other operational tasks and duties that may be assigned from time-to-time.
Job Requirements
- Minimally a diploma holder
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of MS Office suite, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Meticulous and able to work with tight deadlines.
- Observe a code of strictest confidentiality at all times
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- The successful appointee will be based in IAL Campus located at Lifelong Learning Institute at Paya Lebar.
