Job Description

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

•            Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned portfolios, including requisition management, job postings, candidate sourcing, shortlisting, interview coordination, offer processing and onboarding.

•            Partner hiring managers to understand manpower needs, job requirements and selection criteria, ensuring alignment with approved headcount and budget.

•            Provide advice to hiring managers on recruitment approaches, market availability, and selection processes.

•            Manage interview processes, selection panels, offer negotiations, and pre-employment checks in accordance with University policies and governance requirements.

•            Contribute to workforce planning discussions and anticipate future talent needs and build talent pipelines.

•            Proactively lead in academic hiring support including serving as secretariat in Board of Selection.

Stakeholder Management

•            Act as the primary point of contact for hiring departments throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

•            Manage relationships with external parties including recruitment agencies, job portals and background screening vendors.

Process Improvement & Compliance

•            Support periodic reviews of recruitment processes, templates and guidelines to improve efficiency and candidate experience.

•            Maintain accurate recruitment records and data for audit, reporting and management review purposes.

 

Employer Branding & Outreach

•            Support employer branding initiatives, career fairs, outreach programmes and recruitment campaigns.

•            Assist in maintaining and updating recruitment-related content on career platforms and the University website.

Reporting & Analytics

•            Prepare recruitment reports and dashboards, including time-to-fill, hiring status, and recruitment effectiveness.

•            Analyse recruitment data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities to recommend for improvement.

Other Duties

•            Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the University’s strategic priorities.

•            Perform other duties as assigned by the HR leadership team.

Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
    • At least 3–5 years of experience with strong hands-on exposure to talent acquisition, preferably within a university, public sector or large organisation.  
    • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple job families.
    • Good understanding of Singapore employment legislation and recruitment best practices.
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with hiring managers at different levels.
