About The Role

Under the direction of Dean of Students, the Centre Manager plans, organises and manages operational excellence and support the implementation of strategic initiatives in Student Success Centre (SSC). This role involves overseeing operational excellence, optimising resources in administrative functions supporting student programmes, managing stakeholder engagements, overseeing partnerships, and ensuring effective communication and marketing efforts. The Centre Manager will also oversee knowledge management, coordinate reports and key liaison for different units in the university to enhance SSC's impact on student success.

What You Will Be Doing

Organisation Excellence and Curriculum Administration Management

  • Supervise a team of executives and manage administrative functions including curriculum, finance and operations processes to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee budgeting processes 


Data & Insights Management

  • Oversee and coordinate efforts in data collation and analysis to support operational insights for SSC and reportin

 

Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of reports, including audit and stakeholder reports.

 

Policy & Resource Management

  • Track and maintain SSC policies to ensure alignment with university guidelines.
  • Manage SSC resources, including manpower and budget utilization, through effective planning and monitoring.

 

Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement

  • Engage with other university departments on operational and strategic matters.
  • Oversee SSC partnerships, including engagement sessions and regular reviews of partners and stakeholders.

 

Marketing & Communications

  • Oversee and coordinate SSC marketing and communication efforts across offices to achieve intended outcomes

 

Leadership & Committee Oversight and Involvement

  • Lead SSC committees that focus on achieving SSC-centric goals and objectives.
  • Involvement in cross-department and/or university-wide projects

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Experience in administration within institution of higher learning or operations within a university or educational setting would be an advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership management abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing and communications strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good collaborator and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in IT skills
