What You Will Be Doing
The Senior Executive (Service-Learning) reports to the Head (Service-Learning), and is responsible for supporting the coordination and implementation of Service-Learning’s portfolio of programmes in collaboration with all stakeholders to achieve the strategic and operational goals of the SUSS Core.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage and provide administrative support for the experiential components of the NIE301 Learning with Communities course, including contract management, impact survey and evaluation and onsite support for collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with community partners by conducting regular reviews and evaluating feedback in support of meaningful and impactful stakeholder experience.
- Oversee development and administration of grants that support Service-Learning programmes and initiatives. Monitor grant deliverables and prepare annual financial updates for donor impact report.
- Assist in secretariat functions for annual university awards.
Others
- Support department events and activities, as well as university-wide projects and activities.
- Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder with at least 3 years of professional experience preferably in the education and/or community sector.
- Strong analytical, communication, networking and presentation skills.
- A resourceful team player with initiative and interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity.
- Strong coordination, administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Intellectually inquisitive; with a good awareness of current and global affairs.
- Experience in grants and/or funds administration is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Professional applications.
