Senior Executive / Executive (1 year Contract)

What You Will be Doing

  • Project Involvement: Participate in projects, e.g. software asset management initiative, where you would document software assets used in the institution and set up processes to manage these assets.
  • Administrative Support: Manage administrative tasks such as document organization and data entry to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and files related to departmental activities and projects.
  • Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis to support decision-making processes and provide data-driven insights.
  • Technical Assistance: Offer technical support, which may include troubleshooting software or hardware issues and implementing technological solutions.
  • Collaboration: Engage in collaborative efforts with a diverse group of stakeholders, including faculty, students, and other team members, to achieve project objectives.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement and implement strategies to optimize operational performance.
  • Report Generation: Generate reports or presentations summarizing findings, progress, or outcomes of various projects or activities.

Skills and Experiences for the Role

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years experience in an IT role or in the education industry.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft O365 applications, especially with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information and communicate requirements and issues clearly and concisely.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with users and vendors.
  • Must be a good team player, proactive in nature, highly organized and positive attitude.
