Job Description

INF oversees and coordinates the university's infrastructural developments and operational management.  We are responsible for the efficacy of ongoing support services for campus facilities and occupants. In addition to supporting matters related to estates and facilities management, you will assist to drive the university's resilience in business continuity, emergency response, workplace safety and health and campus security.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the university's infrastructural projects.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify and address infrastructural needs and improvements.
  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations of campus facilities to ensure a conducive environment for occupants.
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of buildings utilities and other campus facilities.
  • Implement green initiatives to meet sustainability goals and enhance the longevity of infrastructure.
  • Assist to maintain SUSS's ISO22301 Business Continuity Management System and emergency preparedness programme.
  • Assist to conduct regular drills and training sessions to prepare staff and stakeholders for potential emergencies.
  • Conduct checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations across campus facilities.
  • Conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Liaise with landlord to address security risks and maintenance of access control and surveillance systems.

Job Requirements

  •     Bachelor's degree in Building, Estates or Facilities Management, Engineering or related field
  •     Minimum 5 years of proven experience in facilities management or related roles.
  •     Knowledge of business continuity, emergency planning, workplace safety and security protocols.
  •     Strong project management skills.
  •     Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  •     Ability to analyse complex issues and develop effective solutions.
