Job Description

Job Purpose: Administer the newly-established Master level programme and Graduate Certificates, and support all the administrative requirements of the programmes at the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore (IAL).



  • Provide administrative management of assigned programme(s), overseeing administrative processes, student matters and programme events
  • Work closely with and fully support the Head of Programme and the programme faculty in planning, executing and managing various programme administrative tasks and projects
  • Coordinate all programme-related administrative processes, projects and activities, working closely with other SUSS departments to ensure adherence to all SUSS programme-related processes
  • Assist the Head of Programme with ad-hoc tasks, including with any external liaison as assigned
  • Contribute to and support IAL’s key areas as required
  • Support other SUSS and IAL-wide events and activities as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, HR Management or other disciplines that is relevant to the Training & Adult Education (TAE) sector
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in HR, Training, Education or Administration, preferably with an IHL or any other educational institute
  • Conversant in business administration, training administration or academic requirements and roles
  • Proficient in the use of IT tools and MS Office Applications
  • Good spoken and written communication skills and is meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Good team player who is both process and results oriented with excellent project and time management and people-relationship skills
  • Able to take initiative to address challenges and issues at work
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
