About The Role

 

The Senior Manager (Capability Development, Internationalisation) of Office for Skills-First Practices will play a key role in leading the development and implementation of capability-building programmes and focus on internationalisation strategies.  The role also entails budget management and handling of day-to-day operations for the Office.

What You Will Be Doing

 

  • Assist the Director in developing and implementing capability-building programmes, including identifying the training needs of stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of curriculum and instructional materials for capability-building programmes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to programme instructors and facilitators, ensuring high-quality delivery and learner engagement.
  • Assist the Director in internationalising programmes and services, including developing partnerships with international organisations, designing cross-border training initiatives, and identifying opportunities for global collaborations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the capability-building programmes and internationalisation efforts through stakeholder feedback, programme evaluations, and other assessment methods.
  • Assist the Director in managing the Office’s budget for capability-building programmes and internationalisation efforts.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Office.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies governing the Office’s operations.
  • Stay current with trends and developments in skills-first initiatives and practices.
  • Drive capability development in programme management and internationalisation.
  • Champion an innovative and caring work culture.

Job Requirements

 

  • At least four years of experience in learning and development (L&D) and business development over the last six years.
  • Previous experiences in operational roles preferred.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • The position is based in IAL’s premises at Lifelong Learning Institute in Paya Lebar.
