The Executive (Service-Learning) reports to the Head (Service-Learning) and supports the effective delivery of key Service-Learning programmes and initiatives, working with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the strategic and operational goals of the SUSS Core.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the operational delivery of the ePortfolio graduation requirement, including coordinating key processes, communications and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely and effective implementation.
- Support the coordination of annual University awards under the purview of the Service-Learning unit, including nomination and assessment processes, judging sessions, and engagement with nominees, selection panel members and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate the experiential components of NIE301 Learning with Communities, including administrative and logistical arrangements, contract administration, stakeholder coordination and onsite support for student-community engagement activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Service-Learning operations and stakeholder experience, including streamlining processes and supporting the effective use of digital tools and technology.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in higher education, education and/or the community sector.
- Strong coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Resourceful and adaptable team player who is able to work independently and collaboratively, with initiative and sound judgement.
- Comfortable using digital tools and technology to support efficient ways of working; experience with data analytics would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Professional applications.
