Systems Analyst (Application Development), Executive / Senior Executive

Job Description
  • To use technologies and relevant applications to design new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze, validate, specify, verify, and translate business requirements into highly specified project briefs.
  • Assist in managing both in-house and out-sourced projects to meet project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Define, design, develop, implement, test and deploy applications to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Working closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Provide application support and advice to users.
  • Supporting users on change control and system updates
  • providing training and user manuals to users of a new system
  • Responsible for creating and updating of system documentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
  • Assist Supervisor in preparing RFQ/tender documents and conducting bid evaluation.
  • Develop/review IT processes to support one or more University’s strategic initiatives.
  • Engaged in IT project management and new IT application development projects for the Institute for Adult Learning
Job Requirements
  • Degree in information technology or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge / Expertise in implementation of HR/Finance module in SAP or Oracle ERP system will be a great advantage.
  • Experience in web based application development with full SDLC
  • Hands on experience with the Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Able to take challenges, work independently or as a team, and be self-driven to learn new technologies
  • Possess strong technical competencies, analytical, good interpersonal skills and services oriented.
  • May require traveling between multiple campuses within Singapore.
