Temp English Language Instructor - Graduate Studies

The Temp English Language Instructor is required to perform the following tasks:

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting English Lessons:
    • Deliver high-quality English language lessons for 2 hours per week over a 4-week period.
    • Tailor lessons to meet the specific needs of non-native English speakers, focusing on improving their English language proficiency, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  2. Preparation of Teaching Materials:
    • Develop comprehensive teaching materials that are engaging, relevant, and aligned with the learning objectives.
    • Incorporate a variety of resources such as multimedia, interactive exercises, and real-world scenarios to enhance learning outcomes.
  3. Coordination and Review:
    • Ensure that all teaching materials meet the required academic standards before classes commence.
    • Make necessary adjustments based on feedback to ensure the effectiveness of the lessons.
  4. Student Engagement and Support:
    • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation.
    • Provide personalized feedback and guidance to students to help them overcome language barriers and achieve their learning goals.

 

Job Requirements:

    • Advanced knowledge of English language teaching methodologies, especially for non-native English speakers.
    • Ability to understand and address the specific language learning challenges faced by non-native English speakers, be able to prepare lesson plans and teaching materials and deliver high-quality lessons within the given timeframe.
    • Experience in incorporating various teaching aids and technologies into lessons.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
