Temp IRB Admin Officer
Job Description
- Assist in initial screening of IRB submissions for completeness and compliance
- Support tracking of applications, amendments, renewals, and approvals.
- Help prepare IRB meeting materials (e.g. agendas, document collation).
- Draft administrative correspondence with researchers.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems in line with audit requirements.
- Support updating of IRB templates, checklists, and guidance documents.
- Assist in process documentation and workflow improvements.
- Support any IRB administrative tasks assigned by RO.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents systematically.
- Good written communication skills and ability to follow structured guidelines.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn IRB ethics principles, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
- Strong ability to translate and apply principles and guidelines learnt in review process.
- Responsible, dependable, and able to work independently with guidance.
- Ability to handle tight timeline and structured workflow.
