Temp IRB Admin Officer

Job Description

  • Assist in initial screening of IRB submissions for completeness and compliance
  • Support tracking of applications, amendments, renewals, and approvals.
  • Help prepare IRB meeting materials (e.g. agendas, document collation).
  • Draft administrative correspondence with researchers.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems in line with audit requirements.
  • Support updating of IRB templates, checklists, and guidance documents.
  • Assist in process documentation and workflow improvements.
  • Support any IRB administrative tasks assigned by RO.

 

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents systematically.
  • Good written communication skills and ability to follow structured guidelines.
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn IRB ethics principles, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong ability to translate and apply principles and guidelines learnt in review process.
  • Responsible, dependable, and able to work independently with guidance.
  • Ability to handle tight timeline and structured workflow.
