Temp Operations Associate
About the Role
As a Operations Associate for the SSC, you will be an essential part of the team, contributing to the maintenance of the SUSS gymnasium and other facilities, thus supporting operational excellence. This is a temporary role, which offers an opportunity for an individual with an interest in facility maintenance and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifying user access by checking staff and student user IDs upon entry into the gymnasium
- Answering on-site user inquiries by informing users about equipment and other gymnasium services.
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment by wiping down equipment and ensuring proper storage of items.
- Reporting maintenance issues such as equipment/facility malfunctions or damages.
- Ensuring equipment is in good working order, performing regular inspections and notifying appropriate staff of any repairs needed.
- Providing administrative and operations support including handling Finance matters.
- Assisting with events by providing support during school-wide events and activities.
Other Responsibilities:
- Executing daily tasks as part of gymnasium SOP such as opening/closing procedures, stocking supplies, cleaning specific areas and updating the Gym publicity screen.
- Enforcing gym policies and procedures: Ensuring members adhere to rules and guidelines.
- Tracking usage of gym via logbook and transferring the data to an excel on a daily basis
- Overseeing gym activities and intervene, if necessary.
- Responding to emergencies
Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite on weekdays except Public Holidays.
- Possess or currently pursuing a Diploma, preferably in a field related to facilities management or safety.
- Experience in customer service, skills in First Aid/CPR or knowledge of Gym equipment will be an added advantage.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
Flexibility for weekends or after-hours for certain occasions or school events.
